Comverse Selected as a Finalist for 2006 Leading Lights Award for Best M&A Strategy
Comverse was recently named a finalist for the Light Reading Leading Lights Award. Comverse is being recognized for their M&A strategy in enhancing the Comverse Total Communication Story. Within the last year Comverse acquired the GSS Division of CSG Systems (Kenan assets), Netcentrex, and Netonomy, allowing for growth in the VoIP market, as well as establishing the Comverse name as a major player in the converged billing space.
The Leading Lights Awards recognize public and private companies and their executives for their outstanding achievements in the telecommunications industry.
Now that the finalists have been determined, the winners will be judged by a panel of Light Reading editors, Heavy Reading analysts, and independent advisors that Light Reading has consulted from across the industry. Once decided upon, winners will then be announced at a Gala dinner on the eve of Heavy Reading's Links 2006 Executive Summit, November 15, 2006.
