For activation of multi-service (mobile, fixed, broadband, VAS) networks, Comverse has partnered with Packetware and the Teleprovision product. The Packetware Teleprovision product enables subscribers to be provisioned on one or more network elements such as the Authentication Center (AuC), Home Location Register (HLR), Voice Mail System (VMS), RADIUS Server (AAA), Global Location Register (GLR), Short Messaging Service Center (SMSC). TeleProvision interfaces with a wide variety of network elements on the network side, and has been integrated with the Comverse ONE Billing and Customer Management system for a complete end-to-end service fulfillment solution. With Comverse ONE and TeleProvision, new types of network elements can be added in the network without any changes in Comverse ONE as far as interfacing with the new network elements is concerned. TeleProvision assures interoperability with network elements of all the major equipment vendors and has been deployed globally with over 100 carriers.
The Aricent Service Provisioning Platform (SPP) is a real-time, flow-through service activation system capable of processing more than 10 million requests per day. With SPP, Comverse can deliver a provisioning platform that enables Comverse customers to provide flow-through activation for the Comverse ONE Billing and Active Customer Management solution and seamlessly turn-up service on many different types of network elements and applications. Comverse ONE with Aricent SPP supports the complete fulfillment process from the initial order to order decomposition, service instance design, service assignment, service record decomposition, service turn-on and finally upstream notification.
