With a fully documented and open API, Comverse’s approach to third party systems is always open.

The Comverse ONE Billing and Active Customer Management solution seamlessly provides end-to-end service fulfillment including activation of services on the network by providing the Service Activation platform necessary to interface with the operator’s network elements. For mobile, fixed, broadband, video or multi-service operators, Comverse ONE enables the service provider to quickly turn up services and subscribers ordered via the Comverse ONE Active Customer Management. The Comverse ONE solution delivers this end-to-end service fulfillment through partnerships with several key technology partners. Comverse consistently works with the following service activation partners but can also work with the service provider’s partner of choice.

Packetware

Packetware

For activation of multi-service (mobile, fixed, broadband, VAS) networks, Comverse has partnered with Packetware and the Teleprovision product. The Packetware Teleprovision product enables subscribers to be provisioned on one or more network elements such as the Authentication Center (AuC), Home Location Register (HLR), Voice Mail System (VMS), RADIUS Server (AAA), Global Location Register (GLR), Short Messaging Service Center (SMSC). TeleProvision interfaces with a wide variety of network elements on the network side, and has been integrated with the Comverse ONE Billing and Customer Management system for a complete end-to-end service fulfillment solution. With Comverse ONE and TeleProvision, new types of network elements can be added in the network without any changes in Comverse ONE as far as interfacing with the new network elements is concerned. TeleProvision assures interoperability with network elements of all the major equipment vendors and has been deployed globally with over 100 carriers.

Operator’s Existing Service Activation or partner of Choice

In addition to these partners, Comverse ONE easily integrates an operator’s legacy Service Activation Platform with the Comverse ONE Application Integrator product. This high performance message processing engine is an integration platform that transforms Comverse ONE services and subscriber data into the formats and protocols necessary by the operator’s legacy service activation platforms. This way, no changes are needed by Comverse ONE or the operator’s platform saving deployment time and costs. The entire integration is accomplished via a run-time configurable integration specification and a set of technology adapters (e.g. HTTP, CORBA, XML, JMS). With the Application Integrator, Comverse ONE can quickly integrate to an existing service activation platform or to the service provider’s platform or partner of choice.
