Agreement with Alcatel Lucent
Telenet selected Alcatel-Lucent as ‘overall network integrator’ for a 7-year framework contract.
Alcatel-Lucent will take charge of the complete integration of the mobile core activities and the
network components. As part of this agreement Alcatel-Lucent will be responsible for the installation, integration, operation and maintenance of Telenet’s mobile network and the accompanying service infrastructure. The co-operation with Alcatel-Lucent demonstrates the commitment of both parties to Flanders’ innovation driven economy.

Agreement with Comverse
Telenet has also renewed its partnership with Comverse. This new agreement will enable Telenet to work with the real-time rating platform “Comverse® ONE”. The Comverse rating and billing solution allows Telenet to provide advanced charging of mobile services and content services alongside the existing billing possibilities, in addition to efficient account management. The agreement with Comverse should give Telenet the flexibility to provide maximum personalisation and bundling options for both fixed and mobile services.
